1.
What size picture do I need to supply?
We prefer to get the biggest version of the picture you require
us to work with, but we can do quite a lot with small pictures.
Digitally we like the picture to be the size you want it printed
and 300dpi resolution. Basically if you use a digital camera
3 megapixels will suffice for most sizes, any larger and quality
improves (call if you require help with this). We can often
use pictures that are the size you want printed but as low
as 72dpi. If the quality is too low we will advise you before
we print anything.
2. What size file
can I send to you?
We can receive up to 15mb through our email system, if you
have a larger picture you can either send it to us on cd rom
to the address above, or if you email us we can set up an
FTP connection for you to directly upload to our servers.
3. Can I have
a different size to those listed in your 'sizes and prices'?
Yes, our non-standard frames are all made to order, so if
you do not see the size you require, simply order the next
size up and let us know by letter or e-mail when ordering.
4. How soon will
I get my print?
We have a turnaround time of usually 3-4 working days however
please allow 7-10 working days at busy times. If you require
your image returned by a specific date - please call first
to ensure we can achieve your requirements on 0845 388 0281.
5. How deep are
your frames?
We offer 2 types of frames, our standard frames are 18mm and
38mm deep and we hold plenty in stock.
6. I only have
a hard copy of my photo; can I still have it printed onto
canvas?
Yes, if you post the photo to us including a note of your
contact details and the size and any effects that you may
require, we can scan it for you. We will return the original
to you with the canvas. We do recommend that you use a 'board
backed' envelope to prevent damage in the post - if we feel
there is any doubt as to whether we can achieve your required
size from your image - we will contact you with the options
available.
7. What happens
to my digital picture once you have printed my canvas?
We keep all the picture files on our backup system, in case
you want another copy in the future. We do not use them for
anything else without your prior permission, and we will delete
them if you ask us to do so.
8. I'm worried
about giving my credit card details over the web, how else
can I pay?
Cheque is our preferred way to receive payment however we
currently use Paypal for online payments. All credit and debit
card transactions are handled by Paypal on their secure servers,
we do not see any of your credit or debit card details when
you pay online and paypal is widely used and renowned for
its security.
9. Do you offer
discounts?
Yes - we offer discounts for larger orders of 6 or more prints,
please email us for details.
10. Do you deliver
worldwide?
Yes we are happy to deliver worldwide however extra charges
for delivery and packaging will be incurred, email us for
a quote and include your requirement and delivery details.
11. Is the size
I order the print size or the frame size?
The sizes quoted are the front area of the framed canvas.
